Uncle Kyle came home from his mission in Japan a couple days before Christmas. A couple weeks before Kyle's arrival, I asked the boys why we celebrate Christmas. Conner looked at me and simply said that Christmas is for Kyle.... because he is finally coming home.
I could not help laughing.
A lot.
We had a lot of conversations about the true meaning of Christmas, and we finally decided that Kyle was an awesome Christmas present... and Christmas is reallyabout Jesus.
Hopefully the lesson stuck.
