We have been working on teaching our boys how to be reverent during prayers. When they fail to endure a prayer without farting or uncontrollable laughter, it is a HUGE success. Lately, we have been implementing the "let's try that again" principle.
Last week at church, I leaned over to tell Conner that it was time to pray again - during the second sacrament prayer. Upon hearing that we were about to pray again, Conner explained:
"Mom, we just prayed. Conner was reverent. Who is not being reverent? That is not nice of them. The kids need to say sorry to Heavenly Father and be good so we can stop saying prayers now because Conner just wants to play with his cars. That is not nice to Conner to not let him play with his cars."
